Bob Marley One Love Experience at Saatchi Gallery, London

Discover and celebrate Bob Marley’s lifestyle, musical influences, passions, and enduring legacy in a special interactive experience that makes its global debut in London - the city he regarded as his "second base and spiritual home," according to music historian Russell Clarke.

Between 2 February and 18 April 2022, Galleries 6 – 14 (at Saatchi Gallery) honour one of the world’s most unifying and cherished cultural figures. The limited ten-week exhibition will showcase unseen Marley memorabilia, photographs and immerse his fans and curious international audiences on a well-documented journey through his multi-faceted life and remarkable music career.

As visitors will venture through the specially-curated space, they’ll be greeted by different elements of the iconic reggae singer's journey.

First stop, the One Love Music Room displays Marley’s major musical achievements, awards, and accolades. Feel the positive vibrations everywhere around you, whether you’ll read song lyrics or find out more about "Legend," the best-selling reggae album ever.

Next, the lush One Love Forest takes you on a multi-sensory journey to Marley’s Jamaica. Scents and sounds will help you absorb better the fascinating visual backdrop of the Marley songbook. The Beautiful Life area delves deeper into his passion for football and family.

And if you thought "that jammin' was a thing of the past" the Soul Shakedown Studio area will change your mind. Commemorate and rejoice in Marley's musical catalogue through a live silent disco listening experience designed to transcend everything you've ever lived in terms of realistic sound sessions. The Concrete Jungle and Fan Art Exhibition will be displaying artworks by Mr. Brainwash and emerging artists inspired by Jamaica's greatest singer, songwriter, and musician.

The Next Gen Room highlights 4 decades of Bob’s family contributions and legacy passed from one generation to another. Here, as fans reflect on the experience and Bob’s impact on culture and the world, they can leave their own messages of peace, love, and inclusivity on the One Love Tree.
