2022 Chelsea in Bloom Theme is “British Icons” (23 – 28 May 2022)

Chelsea’s venerated free-to-attend annual floral art show returns. As we bid spring farewell, let’s welcome summer by visiting London’s largest public festival of flowers.

For five days only, the world-class alternative flowery celebration will elevate the streets of Chelsea with awe-inspiring displays made of plants. Chelsea’s best restaurants, retailers, and hotels will adorn their already-chic facades with ingenious designs to compete for the sought-after awards.

What’s this year's theme?

Inspired by the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, the 2022 theme is “British Icons,” therefore expect a wealth of exciting floral displays of symbols, characters, and emblems from all over the United Kingdom. The exhibits will encapsulate Great Britain’s outstanding character and talent across the fields of food, fashion, design, art, music, literature, sport, and more.
